Language, Learning and Thinking
Language is the method in which people communicate with each other and it includes words that we speak along with the way in which we speak and listen because these are the initial language skills to learn any language. Signs, gestures, body language and understanding others is also included in language as these are the way to share ideas, feelings and needs in front of others.
Learning is a process of growing mind, gaining new knowledge and skills which can be done with various ways like listening, questioning, watching, playing etcetera.
Thinking is the way that how our brain works in situation or problem. What brain do to understand, solve problem and make decisions by doing imagining, connecting things, remembering.
How Talking Supports Thinking and Listening supports Learning
- Manage ideas- They can organise their thought in particular manner according to talk then they will feel confident and they should be attentive towards others as well to gain more knowledge.
- Problem Solving- they will be able to do such tasks because it is like a self-talk. for example, I should put bigger block at bottom to make tower strong and won't fall.
- Make connections and Build Imagination.
- Follow instructions and understand- they become good listener and use information in own work.
- Learn new Vocabulary and be attentive- It will help them in their future studies to concentrate and listen to the teacher in classroom.
- understand stories and build sharp memory.
