Speaking
Speaking is the most important skill without which children cannot express their thoughts, fears and other problems with others. Speaking is the base of everything because if a person cannot speak then children will be unable to listen their thought and understand because they speaking by imitating others.
Saying words
While playing with them they should chant some words, it can be religious to teach them religious values and so on. Here, they will be able to greet others, learn to say Mumma, Papa etcetera, try to tell others about things like ball. Even if they don't know about the exact meanings but still they try to say such words.
Making sentences
- Family can teach them by making sentences, children just try to imitate others with short sentences even with the sound and pronouncing some words wrongly.
- Children can learn while giving some short answers to questions like " what is your name? " Here they don't know about any grammar rule but they understand that after using this sentence, others will tell their name.

Storytelling
By telling stories is also the good way to improve their speaking ability. For example, when I was a child I used to listen stories from my parents and grandparents and have understanding that when someone is sad, they use low pitch and in aggression they use high tone. With this I sometime cry intentionally to say about some things which i wanted.
Listening
Listening is that skill of language which is basically a way to pay attention to sounds, words or messages and understanding what is communicated by others. Which is way more than just hearing, it includes thinking, interpreting and responding.
key points of listening
- Active process- It means children should pay attention towards speaker to understand the message.
- Involves Attention- The main focus is that they should be fully concentrated like there should not be any distraction like TV, phones etcetera. So, they can fully focus on speaker.
- Show understanding- If they are nodding, repeating or responding then it means they are try to understand the speaker.
- important for learning- because it will help them to follow rules, learn new words and communicate effectively.
